L’IA dans le secteur public: Cas d’utilisation et enjeux éthiques

The introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) in public administration is rapidly expanding and represents the latest phase of digital transformation. The use of AI systems is often associated with improvements in efficiency and productivity, as it enables the quick execution of routine tasks, scaling activities, and making services more accessible to a larger number of people. This technology has the potential to transform several aspects of administrative work, such as automated decision-making, predictive analytics, document processing, and citizen interaction.

As AI technologies increasingly shape citizens' lives and public administrations gradually incorporate these technologies into their services, it seems that the functions and possibilities associated with AI systems (AIS) are not always clearly understood or known by decision-makers, users, or public sector employees. This report aims to describe concrete cases of AI usage in public organizations across OECD countries. The goal is to enhance knowledge and understanding of AI's potential by presenting a range of systems with varying technical capabilities.
