As AI is getting physical, what does it mean for the real estate sector?

This article argues that the true paradigm shift arising from physical AI, and its profound impact on property owners and managers, will stem from the ability of AI systems to map every space user’s own world as it unfolds over time and to extract information from these maps in real time. However, physical AI has thus far remained largely the domain of technology companies. What role, if any, can the real estate industry play in defining world models of space use and monetising them?
