This project explores the impact of the acceleration of audiovisual pacing, intensified by artificial intelligence (AI), on human cognition. Since the 20th century, the increase in editing speed and hyper-pixelation has led to a decline in human attention and the emergence of neurocognitive pathologies. Based on massive audiovisual datasets, it is hypothesized that generative AI amplifies this trend. The study aims to compare traditional digital audiovisual content with AI-generated content using the RivR tool (developed by Botni) to identify their effects on perception and attention.
