As part of efforts to develop on-demand mobility solutions, this project aims to set up a platform for real-time synchronization of transport modes at train stations in urban areas. The project will first identify social acceptance factors; privacy risks and document ways of controlling them; algorithmic discrimination risks and plan corrective solutions. It also aims to evaluate alternative real-time algorithmic structures integrating notions of distributed intelligence and/or data anonymization strategies, and to analyze their impact on business models and on societal acceptance and adoption processes.
