The aim of this project is to study, through pan-Quebec surveys, citizens' and patients' perceptions of automatic contact tracing technologies in the public health emergency context. This research will enable feedback-based learning in the process of developing, adopting and re-evaluating such technologies. Taking into account citizens' knowledge and perceptions of these technologies is a major asset in ensuring that governments provide an appropriate regulatory framework for these technologies. This project adopts a community-based research and co-construction approach involving citizens, patients, researchers, ethicists, jurists, healthcare professionals and technology developers.
