The aim of this project is to study the interactions between algorithmic management (AM), sectoral and organizational governance, and quality of work, by conducting multiple case studies in organizations from various sectors (public administration, aerospace, auto-services, energy) that have implemented AM, i.e. a control system where algorithms, using massive data and machine learning, are responsible for making and executing decisions affecting work, to better understand how AM and governance models shape quality of work (autonomy, expressiveness and risk distribution).
