Seven new research teams funded under the Innovative Projects Program - Stream 5

Obvia announces the funding of seven new research projects on the societal impacts of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology as part of the fifth round of its calls for innovative projects, for a total of $837,000.

This program aims to support research and creation on responsible innovation and the major societal transformations associated with AI and digital technology. It fosters the development of new interdisciplinary research teams while attracting early-career researchers in this field. Since 2019, these calls have funded 29 interdisciplinary research teams for more than $3.5 million.

Projects submitted under the fifth round were evaluated by an international, interdisciplinary committee. Each of the successful teams will receive funding of up to $120,000 for a period of two to three years.
