About the book

We live in an age of digital data. With the rise of artificial intelligence, data defines, enriches and influences virtually every aspect of our lives. The present calls for a critical awakening and a democratic awakening to claim our right over the trajectory of our personal data. The power of data is not the prerogative of the technological giants. We, as citizens, must reclaim our place in the decisions that shape our digital future. This book guides us towards this awareness, and towards the necessary reappropriation of power over our data.

With clarity and conviction, the author proposes a reinvented form of data governance, where transparency, equity and citizen participation are not just ideals, but a practical reality. She offers a framework for reflection and action, essential for players in ministries and public organizations, to build projects that prioritize ethics and responsibility, putting people back at the heart of technological developments. This text is a call for reflection and commitment, to transform personal data into vectors of societal progress. It's high time we took action for a form of data governance that resembles us and brings us together.
