Université Laval's Centre de recherche en données massives (CRDM) launches the first edition of its Colloque sur la cybersécurité.
This event will bring together internationally renowned specialists, researchers, postdoctoral fellows and students, offering a unique platform for sharing innovative ideas, discoveries, techniques and recent tools related to the practical and theoretical aspects of cybersecurity. The Colloquium will be held on September 16, 2024, in the bright and friendly premises of Université Laval: an ideal opportunity to inaugurate the fall 2024 season in Quebec City in style.
Program
The program of the CRDM Colloquium on Cybersecurity features plenary sessions, presentations highlighting the latest scientific contributions, and a panel discussion. Cybersecurity researchers from Quebec and beyond will lead discussions on recent advances in research fields ranging from cybersecurity and artificial intelligence to critical infrastructure security and privacy.
Presented in both French and English, the Colloquium will provide a forum for discussion of emerging research directions to ensure the security of Canadian cyberspace. The day will close with a networking cocktail to encourage exchanges with panelists from leading Canadian universities.
To benefit from the preferential rate, registrations must be made before July 1, 2024.
Call for papers
The student community and postdoctoral researchers are invited to submit abstracts of their scientific contributions to participate in the poster session (90 cm x 120 cm). Abstracts must be submitted online by August 31, 2024 at 23:59.
