Carol Hudon, Ph.D., is a neuropsychologist, a full professor at the School of Psychology at Université Laval, and a researcher at the VITAM Research Center. Dr. Hudon teaches clinical neuropsychology in the doctoral programs at the School of Psychology at Université Laval, with a particular focus on neuropsychological assessment and geriatric neuropsychology. As of 2025, he had supervised the research work of 34 Ph.D. students and 6 master’s students. His research has been focused on Alzheimer’s disease since 2003, with projects on early diagnosis, secondary prevention, and innovative practices in long-term care and housing. In this regard, he leads the activities of the Living Lab Camelia at the Maison des aînés et alternative de Sainte-Foy. The Living Lab approach is intersectoral, promoting participatory action research, with the overarching goal of generating scientific knowledge on innovative practices in long-term care and housing. At Living Lab Camelia, artificial intelligence is taken into account to improve care and services.
